Routes

Here is a set of routes to help you get out and ride your bike. Each route has a start point with parking, a cafe stop and a full Strava route. You should be able to load that route onto your cycling computer and have a really great ride.

The Cat and Fiddle

The Cat and Fiddle is a very popular road, it’s not only a really great, long, challenging cycling climb (listed in the 100 Greatest Climbs books too!) but it’s also a popular road with those on Motor Bikes. This means it can be a bit challenging with the traffic, but it’s an epic and you have to ride up it at least once!

The Hills' Angels are a bit in love with Simon Warren’s 100 Greatest Climbs. This route was designed to give us a testing ride taking in three of them near Sheffield. Winnats Pass, Curbar Gap and Rowsley Bar!
Pretty Places

I’d had a bad week at work when I put this route together. I wanted to ride through some of the prettiest places in the Peak District to cheer myself up. You really do go through some stunning places on this ride.

Of course the problem with Pretty Places is that generally Pretty Views come up hills. So this is a tough amount of climbing. Multiple cafe points though!
